Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the performance of the budget for health maintenance and recovery activities at the Jambi Provincial Mental Hospital during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. This research was motivated by not implementing several activity performance indicators and not achieving activity performance targets in the form of the number of implementation and budget realizations that were not as expected in the Budget Work Plan (RKA) and Budget Execution Documents (DPA). The research method used is a qualitative research method. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the Regional Mental Hospital in Jambi Province had poor performance related to the 2020 budget for health maintenance and recovery activities, there were several aspects of performance that had not been met, namely on the aspect of the process in the implementation of activities that are not on time and the implementation of activities is not in accordance with the plan, in addition to the aspect of the output where the achievement of the performance target in the form of the number of activities carried out and the realization of the activity budget does not reach the expected target. The suggestions for this research, namely the Jambi Provincial Mental Hospital is expected to be able to maintain the performance aspects that have been met and can carry out other performance aspects that have not been fulfilled related to the budget for health maintenance and restoration activities, so that the budget provides more optimal achievements in the future.
