Abstract

One of materials that are needed for construction activities is readymix concrete. Delivery delays of readymix materials in construction projects still occur frequently, so a good production management system is needed. Just in time is a production management system in the manufacturing industry that has the goal of meeting customer demands in a timely manner with quality products. The purpose of this research is to find out the application of the principle of just in time system in the production process at the readymix company and to know the efficiency of the readymix production process that has been applied. Data that used in this study were taken from PT. Waskita Beton Precast Batching Plant Palembang with observations, questionnaires and interviews. Based on the analysis that has been done the application of the principle of just in time is known to be able to increase time efficiency of production in the company's to 88%. Time efficiency of production can make customer increase productivity of company.
