Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study aimed to determine students' errors in completing the semester exam in class XI IPA 3 SMAN 6 OKU. Data collection techniques used are documentation and interviews. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman which consists of three flows of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The result show that the errors of the student in completing the semester exams are: comprehension error, transformation error, proccess skill error, and encoding error. The most common error made by students in completing the semester exam are transformation error and process skill error. It also found errors in the form of careless and a reading error.
