Abstract

Di era digital saat ini, ulasan konsumen memiliki peran besar dalam membentuk persepsi dan keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ulasan negatif terhadap keputusan pembelian melalui marketplace Shopee pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Sriwijaya angkatan 2021. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif pendekatan asosiatif dan hubungan kausal. Sampel berjumlah 74 mahasiswa menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria mahasiswa angkatan 2021 yang menggunakan Shopee. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan wawancara. Uji validitas menggunakan rumus Pearson Product Moment dan reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach. Teknik analisis data meliputi analisis deskriptif, uji prasyarat, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan saling memengaruhi antara ulasan negatif dan keputusan pembelian, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,776. Uji-t menunjukkan thitung = 10,451 ≥ ttabel = 1,666. Berdasarkan perhitungan koefisien determinasi, ulasan negatif memberikan kontribusi sebesar 60,27% terhadap keputusan pembelian, sedangkan 39,73% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini. Salah satu keterbatasan penelitian ini adalah jumlah responden yang terbatas, sehingga hasil penelitian mungkin belum merepresentasikan seluruh populasi mahasiswa atau konsumen secara umum.
