Abstract

This research aims to determine the different in the influence of learning motivation between Bidikmisi and Non Bidikmisi students towards learning achievement of economics education students of Sriwijaya university. The research method used was comparative quantitative. Data collection techniques were documentation and questionnaires. Instrument validation used the formula of Korelasi Produk Moment and reliability test used the formula of Alpha. The analysis technique of learning motivation data was derived from the questionnaire instrument that was given to Bidikmisi and Non- Bidikmisi students and the analysis of documentation data was derived from the result of collecting all KHS of Bidikmisi and Non-Bidikmisi students. From the data, the meant of learning Motivation of bidikmisi students was 79.07 and non-bidikmisi student was 75.74, while the average learning achievement of bidikmisi student was 3.43 and non bidikmisi student was 3.38. It means that learning motivation and learning achievement of bidikmisi students are greater than non-bidikmisi students. The determinant test was done to understand how much variable x affected variable y, the result 99.6% was affected, and 0.4% was affected by other variables. Then t test result showed that thitung 6.524 ≥ ttabel 1.984 so ho was rejected ha was accepted. It can be concluded that there is difference in the influence of learning motivation between Bidikmisi and Non Bidikmisi students towards learning achievement of Economic Education Student of Sriwijaya University. Based on this research, it is expected that all of Bidikmisi and Non bidikmisi students increase their learning motivation in order to get more satisfied achievement, because the higher motivation we have, the greater achievement we get.
