Abstract

Land and Building Tax is a potential source of state revenue to finance national development, especially regional development because its objects are spread throughout the country. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Land and Building Tax receipts on local revenue receipts at the UPT Regional Tax Management Agency, Ilir Barat II District, Palembang City. The types of data used in this study are Primary and Secondary data, in the form of interviews and observations and in the form of data reports on the determination and realization of Land and Building Tax and the contribution of Land Building Tax in the Ilir Barat II District of Palembang City on Income Original area of Palembang City in 2018 - 2020 at UPT Regional Tax Management Agency Ilir Barat II District, Palembang City. From the results of the research the authors can conclude that the effectiveness of Land and Building Tax receipts in the Ilir Barat II District of Palembang City is not running effectively. The contribution of the Land and Building Tax in the Ilir Barat II District of Palembang City to the Regional Original Income of the City of Palembang is very less contributing
